I just received word that I sold my first painting of the show! Antithesis Minor, a 2"x4" painting, has been with me for about three years now, and while I'm sad to see her go, I'm very exited to sell on the first day of the show.

Here we go!

I just dropped off my work at the! What a thrill that was! I was nervous but left feeling exhilarated. The gallery director was awesome and I believe he'll hang a beautiful show for me. It makes me feel like painting right now, but I've got another project to work on this year. I'm definitely now done though. I hope to show in other states next time around. This has been a great experience so far and I look forward to planning my next show soon!

Tomorrow's the day...

All my work is packed up and ready to head over to the gallery tomorrow morning. I managed to pull together 19 pieces for At Odds End and I'm pretty happy with how everything turned out. Of the 19, about half are new or previously unshown pieces, which I feel really good about given the tough year I had with my health. Very excited to see the work up and lit. I'll be posting with insights into a few of the pieces in the upcoming weeks, so check back!
